If you are bailed to attend court, or the police station, you must still attend unless you are unable to. If you are unwell or self isolating for good reason then you must inform the court. If you need our help with this we will be happy to help. It will remain in the discretion of the court as to whether a warrant is issued, but if your illness, or reason for self isolation, is genuine we would be confident that the court would be sympathetic and adjourn your case. If you are unable to attend then you remain under an obligation to surrender to the court, or police station, as soon as possible once the problem has passed, that is once you are well or no longer need to self isolate. The key is to keep everyone informed. Do not assume your case will be adjourned without you doing anything. It will not.
